Anies Wants To Return Jakarta To Be A Happy City For Its Citizens
JAKARTA - Former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan expressed his desire to return Jakarta as a city that makes its citizens happy.
Anies said this after carrying out consolidation with City Residents at the Jakarta Initiative Office, South Jakarta, Friday, June 21.
"So, we talked earlier about the need to fight together to return Jakarta to become a city whose term is used is 'back' to become a city that makes its citizens happy," he said as quoted by ANTARA.
Anies communicated as well as received the aspirations of the residents who attended the consolidation. In addition, Anies also received support from the City Citizens to run in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.
"With residents from various areas in Jakarta expressing their aspirations about my involvement in the regional elections tomorrow. So, they conveyed about their readiness to be involved," said Anies.
The former governor of DKI Jakarta is grateful for the trust of the residents in him.

Anies then invited the citizens of Jakarta to fight together because they brought aspirations that could not be alone.
"We are tidying up so that the work together yesterday is also running, now we focus on Jakarta," Anies added.
In addition, Anies said that he was building communication with political parties. In fact, he admitted that he was open to discussing with all political parties.
"Because indeed the process in each party occurs for all parts of Indonesia," he said.
"So, you can imagine the load (load) of work in each DPP is now very high and they are non-stopping. So, we just monitor its development, we follow developments, and every time there is an invitation to discuss, I always fulfill the invitation," he added.
