Russian Attack On Ukrainian Police Cuts Off Tens Of Thousands Of Electricity

JAKARTA - Russian missile attacks in the Poltava area, Ukraine, injured nine people and cut power lines, a regional governor said.

"Based on preliminary information, there were no casualties," Filip Pronin said in a video uploaded on the Telegram application. "Some high-rise buildings were damaged," he said, quoted by Reuters, Monday, June 17.

Smoke billowing from the damaged garage was seen, while rescue teams tried to extinguish the fire.

Pronin said that due to the damage to electricity lines, around 53,000 private consumers and 2,400 industrial consumers face blackouts.
