Volvo Signals EX30's Emergence At GIIAS 2024, Take A Peek At The Specifications
JAKARTA - A number of automotive manufacturers are preparing to participate in the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) which will take place on July 18-28 at ICE BSD, Tangerang. They will introduce the latest vehicles, one of which is Volvo.
PR & Marketing Volvo Cars Indonesia Ratih Perdanakusuma, said that his party would bring five units of display, two Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) models and three Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) models, one of which was the latest vehicle to be launched at GIIAS 2024.
"We will bring five units of display along with a new line-up that we will introduce at GIIAS later," said Ratih in Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 12.
According to VOI, the latest model is EX30, which was launched globally in the middle of last year. This can be seen from the teaser provided by Volvo in its pre-GIIAS presentation this year.
Volvo EX30 is one of the electrified products sold globally. This car is known as a compact electric vehicle at affordable prices from this Swedish manufacturer.
The presence of this model aims to bring full premium electric mobility to a wider audience, helping advance and accelerate the transition to full electrification needed by industry and society.

EX30 is also designed with a charming design. Its modern and elegant appearance combines the typical style of Volvo with futuristic elements. Its vast and comfortable cabinet offers a pleasant driving experience for both drivers and passengers.
The EX30 Volvo has a compact dimension, with a length of 4,223 mm, a width of 1,937 mm, a height of 1,555 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,650 mm.
The car is equipped with an 18-inch alloy rim, LED headlights, one-zone climate control system, adjustable front seat, and 12.3-inch mid-screen that controls multiple functions. Its infotainment system also supports connections with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
In the outdoor market, manufacturers provide three powertrain options and two types of batteries that have different advantages.
The first two variants, namely Core and Ultra Single Motor Extended Range, use an NMC battery containing lithium, nickel, manganese, and cobalt. This battery is more efficient than the LFP variant. This single-motor variant has a range of up to 480 km in one charge.
These two variants use a single motor with a power of 268 dk and a torque of 343 Nm, providing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/hour within 5.3 seconds, with the highest speed reaching 180 km/hour.
Meanwhile, the Ultra Twin Motor Performance variant uses two electric motors that produce a total power of 422 dk and a maximum torque of 543 Nm. This allows EX30 to reach speeds from 0 to 100 km/h within 3.6 seconds, with a distance of up to 460 km according to the WLTP cycle.
