Warning! IPhone Users Don't Just Download IOS 18 Beta, There Are Still Many Bugs
JAKARTA - All iPhone users have been warned not to download the latest updates from Apple - or risk serious damage to their smartphones or apps.
Developers have tested beta iOS 18 since Monday, June 10, uncovering bugs with new text notifications, battery power, photo storage, and 'Kunci and Hide apps' features - among others.
While beta is meant for such experiments, users on average take the risk by downloading it as their primary software.
"People who want to download iOS 18 must remember - it will be full of bugs, it can damage your iPhone, and some apps may not work properly," said a developer at X. "Be careful - this is beta for reasons."
While these details may suggest that Apple's software has a flaw, it is usually full of flaws before being released to the general public.
Apple's newly announced iOS 18 at Apple's annual World Developer Conference (WWDC), which includes ways to customize Home Screens, schedule text messages, lock and hide apps, as well as AI-powered features.
All users can download the updated operating system, which will run as a beta developer on smartphones.
However, this version is designed for early developers who are trained to find bugs in software that can make the iPhone unstable. Theserugs can inhibit app operations or even, causing the device to crash.
Pengembang John William Archer menemukan bahwa iPhone 12 Pro Max-nya akan secara otomatis menetapkan saat ia keluar dari Layar Kunci.
Another bug is found with the Lock feature and Hide a new app, which can make the app'miss' or can only be accessed via Face ID.Archer verification that it can't open the app after it closes it or hides it.
This feature is designed to hide several applications such as banking on Home Screens or stop children from buying goods on Amazon without parental permission.
However, users refer to it as a 'treasure of fraud,' because an impious partner can hide dating apps, social media, text messages, and photos from others.
Apple fans using the name Jaden found what she called a 'big bug' - no photos or videos stored in the photo app. "Well, this isn't a good start," the tech expert said on X.
Another user shared that the problem with iOS 18 is that the update drains their iPhone 15 Pro Max battery 'like crazy.'
In addition to the new feature, Apple also announced an 'Apple Intelligence' supported by OpenAI's ChatGPT.
In the introduction event, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that Apple Intelligence marked a 'new chapter in Apple's innovation' and would "change what users can do with our products".
"Our unique approach combines generative intelligence with the user's personal context to provide truly helpful intelligence," Cook said.

Apple insists that personal user information and their questions will not be recorded or saved by Siri, unlike the normal version of ChatGPT.
This partnership will allow for emojis generated by AI, allowing users to type short prompts in iMessage apps for unique emojis and the system will provide icons as requested.
The technology also allows for a new Clearing tool for the Photo app, which makes photo editing very clean - with no sign that photos have been changed in any way.
