PAPUA - Rusli's body, a public transport driver who was the victim of the shooting of an armed criminal group (KKB) in Paniai, was evacuated to Timika, today.Head of the Cartenz Peaceful Public Relations Task Force (DC) AKBP Bayu Suseno said the victim was shot yesterday, around Timida Village, East Paniai District, Paniai Regency, Central Papua Province."The body of the late Rusli was evacuated from Enarotali using the Reven PK-RVV aircraft,” he said in a written statement received in Jayapura, Antara, Wednesday, June 11.The KKB member led by Undius Kogoya, consisting of 10 people in addition to shooting, also burned the victim along with the vehicle being driven.The victim, who works as a public transport driver on the Enarotali route, Paniai to Nabire, Central Papua, was shot while in the vicinity of Timida Village.He explained that the victim's body was planned to be flown to his hometown in Bulusbatang, Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi Province using a Lion Air plane.The Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force 2024 will continue to strive to bring a sense of security to the people in Papua.
