2 Teenage Girls In Medan Are Bullied By Friends, 2 People Are Interrogated

MEDAN - Video of bullying of 2 young women in Medan City, North Sumatra went viral on social media. The perpetrator is a friend of the victim.

From the video circulating, it appears that a young woman grabbed the victim's hair until she fell. The other perpetrators beat the victim repeatedly.

The atmosphere at the location was noisy. There were voices of people around who forbade the beating.

However, the two girls continued to abuse the victim. The perpetrator even hit the victim's head against the ground.

The video also shows similar persecution. This time the location is on the edge of the railroad tracks in Belawan Dua Village, Medan Belawan. The two victims were known to be DW (16) and JS (14).

Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of the Belawan Port Police, Police Commissioner Herwansyah confirmed the video. This case is now being handled by the police.

"It is being handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit, there is already a police report," Herwansyah told VOI, Monday, March 15.

Currently, Herwansyah said, the police are investigating 2 women who are suspected of being the perpetrators of the bullying.

"The perpetrator is still interrogated, there are girls being examined at the Police Headquarters," he continued.

Information obtained, the bullying case was because the two victims were reluctant to be sold to a masher. However, regarding the motive for bullying, Herwansyah did not know for sure.

"At that point, I have not confirmed it to the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, because it is still in the investigation process. It is better to confirm with the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit," said Herwansyah.
