"I can be honest, yes, in this room, I did not handle Starlink directly. I have never, my team has never, never had technical discussions related to Starlink. Okay, I'll be honest with you," he said.
Therefore, Bahlil admitted that he could not provide additional explanations regarding Starlink's investment. He admitted that he was afraid that later he would create multiple interpretations.

"The principle is that as long as it doesn't violate the rules and it is opened according to the rules, then we will carry out the process. But if asked why and how? That's our position, because honestly we never discussed this in tennis. So we don't know, don't get involved," he continued.
Bahlil also revealed the reason for not being involved in the entry of Stalink's investment in Indonesia. He said this was because currently the investment permit could go directly through the OSS without having to meet directly with the minister.
"If we are only part of the NIB registration. NIB then the basic permit, and it comes out without having to meet the team, through OSS it can be as long as there is a notification from the technical ministry it is already running. So the study may be through the technical ministry, maybe, once again I say maybe, because by the team I also convey that I have never discussed this technically," he said.
