Members Of The House Of Representatives Encourage Officials To Find Out Illegal Mining Masterminds In Palu And Kalimantan
Member of Commission VII DPR RI Mulyanto urged law enforcement officials to investigate the masterminds of illegal mines in Palu City, Central Sulawesi (Sulteng).
"The police have arrested two foreign nationals (foreigners), they should be able to reveal who the intellectual actors are," he said when contacted, Tuesday, June 11, was confiscated by Antara.
Not only in Palu, he said, the same case occurred in Kalimantan. Several Chinese child nationals (WNA) for the illegal gold mining case, which openly used heavy equipment and involved 80 people.
"Some foreign workers (TKA) do not have work visas," he said.
He reminded law enforcement and the government not to be lax in cases like that. He even asked to be able to clearly reveal the modes and losses of the state that occurred.
"This is important, so that the public can continue to oversee the complete disclosure of this case. Because the mining case is illegal, it injures the sovereignty of the national natural natural resources," he said.

In addition, Mulyanto requested that the formation of the Illegal Mining Task Force, which had been predicted for a long time, be completed immediately. According to him, the government should have a sense of crisis and prioritize the establishment of an Illegal Mining Task Force rather than distributing IUPK to Religious Organizations.
Previously, the Director of Criminal Investigation of the Central Sulawesi Police named two foreigners, as suspects for alleged illegal mining in the Palu City area.
Dirreskrimsus Polda Central Sulawesi Kombes Pol Bagus Setiyawa said that the two foreigners who were named as suspects entered Indonesia on a visit visa.
The Ditreskrimsus Polda Central Sulawesi has also coordinated with the International Relations Division of the National Police Headquarters and the Palu Immigration Office regarding the existence of the two foreigners.
"Initially we received a report of illegal mining activities carried out in the CPM permit area ( mineral hammer image). After we arrived, it was true that there were mining activities with an immersion system, and we found these two suspects," he said.
