SKK Migas: Supply Chain Management Must Be Aggressive In Order To Boost Production
Deputy Head of SKK Migas Shinta Damayanti emphasized to the supply chain management (SCM) to have a sense of crisis and act aggressively to encourage the fulfillment of the country's oil and gas production target.
" SCM activities in the upstream oil and gas environment must carry out business activities not as usual, and have a sense of crisis," said Shinta Damayanti when giving a speech at the Pre IOG SCM Summit, Surabaya, East Java, quoted from Antara, Monday, June 10.
When opening his remarks, Shinta stated that 2024 was a tough year because of the oil and gas production and lifting targets that had not been achieved.
Meanwhile, based on the long term program (LTP) that has been prepared by SKK Migas, there are ambitious targets from year to year.
"The production and lifting target is our shared responsibility," said Shinta.
Shinta said SCM has a function as the spearhead in supporting the domestic oil and gas production target.
Therefore, Shinta emphasized that breakthroughs and aggressive efforts are needed, while still encouraging the contribution of the domestic industry.
In the context of the long-term drilling program that has been outlined in the LTP, synergy is needed between SKK Migas, KKKS, and stakeholders to support effective and efficient upstream oil and gas business activities. In particular, he continued, in SCM activities.
Shinta explained that this could be an event for the upstream oil and gas industry, especially the domestic industry, to actively participate, increase competitiveness, to form a multiplier effect on the national economy.
