Porsche Officially Introduces EV Version Tigers To The Indonesian Market
JAKARTA - Porsche Indonesia officially presents the all-new electric Tigers to the Indonesian market after its global debut earlier this year. This car comes with a fully new design, powertrain, and technology.
"All-new electric Porsche Macan is a form of our commitment to electrification in combining electric vehicle power and efficiency," said General Manager of Porsche Indonesia Alexander Riedel, in his remarks at the launch at the Tiger Museum, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta, Monday, June 10.
Carrying the theme KEep Your Essence, this car maintains a typical Tiger style like the previous version, but still prioritizes modern technology and sustainability.
"Keep Your Essence, meaning Porsche wants to maintain the essence of this model but still emphasizes modern and up-to-date concepts," explained Sales & Marketing Manager of Porsche Indonesia Ricko Boen.
The SUV dimension covers a length of 4,784 mm, a width of 1,938 mm, a height of 1,622 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,979 mm. Its dynamic look is reinforced by a installed 22-inch rim.
The exterior is equipped with two four-point DRL light units that confirm the car design. The leading light module with an optional matrix LED technology is positioned slightly lower at the front end.
Porsche retains the flyline design with a flat rear window, while the side is combined with a frameless door and glass that gives the impression of luxury and sporty.
On the inside, the EV Tigers are equipped with a 12.6-inch free-standing display, consisting of a curved cluster instrument and a 10.9-inch central screen. Passengers, for the first time, can see information about tuning infotainment systems or video streaming via an optional 10.9-inch screen when the car is piloted.

To improve comfort, this model will be equipped with a Porsche Active Suspension Management system, two-valve damping technology, air suspension, rear-axle transverse lock, and various other features.
Built on the Premium Electric Platform (PPE) architecture with a voltage of 800V, the Tiger 4 variant, as the standard type, is powered by an electric motor with a magnitude of 408 ps and a torque of 650 Nm. While the Turbo variant has the highest power of 639 ps with a powerful torque of 1,130 Nm.
Thus, this model can reach speeds from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds for the standard type and as fast as 3.3 seconds for Turbo. Both have the highest speed of 220 km/hour and 260 km/hour, respectively.
Equipped with a lithium-ion electric battery with a gross capacity of 100 kWh (95 kWh active), this car can cover a distance of 613 km for the standard type and 591 km for the Turbo variant. DC 270 kW fast charging allows this car to charge from 10 to 80 percent in 21 minutes. The EV Tigers are also compatible with 11 kW charging for use in residential areas.
For the Indonesian market, the all-new electric Porsche Macan is priced at IDR 2.49 billion Off The Road DKI Jakarta. This price does not include the personalization options offered by the manufacturer.
