Bahlil Claims Prabowo Also Agrees That Religious Ormas Are Given A Mining Managing Permit
JAKARTA - Investment Minister/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia revealed that it is difficult for Prabowo Subianto to communicate with the elected president regarding the granting of permits for religious community organizations (ormas) to manage mines.
After the communication made, Bahlil claimed that Prabowo Subianto agreed with the policy.
"If we have communicated Pak Prabowo, sir agrees. He is a true patriot," he said when met at the BKPM Office, Jakarta, Friday, June 7.
Furthermore, Bahlil said the government policy was aimed at improving the welfare of the people through religious organizations.
"The important thing is that we write for the welfare of the people through mass organizations. Because they are part of the state's assets, which must be the state present," he said.
Considering that the administration of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was only a month away, Bahlil also handed over the continuation of this policy to the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.
