The Attorney General's Office Calls Drones Shot Down Not Spying

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) stated that the drone crossing the area of the Junior Attorney General's Roundabout for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) did not aim to spy.

Drones were known to have circled in the ceremonial field area until they finally shot down by the security team at the AGO, on June 5.

"It is not true that the drone is passing by to spy and be controlled by any interested party or agency," said the Head of the AGO, Ketut Sumedana in a statement, Thursday, June 6.

Based on the deepening of the drone aircraft, it belongs to one of the drone pilot communities controlled from the area around Blok M Literacy Park.

"It is not true, let alone related to efforts to intervene in one of the cases being handled by the Attorney General's Office," he said

In addition, Ketut also said that the drone crossing in the AGO area was not the first time this had happened. Because, indeed, many communities fly these drones.

"Drone passing is not the first time this has happened," said Ketut.
