20 March In The History Of Pasoepati, Mr. Gibran Announces Club Owner: Managed In Group

JAKARTA - The Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, will announce the owner of Persis Solo next week. The announcement will be made at a hotel in Solo.

"We will announce the owner of Persis after March 20 after Friday Prayer, Friday Prayer, right? Eh, the 20th means Saturday, which means after Dzuhur. The press colleagues and Pasoepati (Persis Solo supporters) are also invited," explained Gibran as quoted from Berita Surakarta Youtube Channel, Saturday, March, 14.

The eldest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was reluctant to respond to questions about the club owner under the name of his younger brother, Kaesang Pangarep. Kaesang has been linked with the Persis Solo owner recently.

"The initials of course will be later. This (Persis owner, red) is not worked on by one person but in group, but the person inside is experienced. I leaked a little bit, relax," Gibran replied.

The name Kaesang has always been associated with the owner of Persis Solo. This departed from the owner's decision to sell Persis Solo shares some time ago. The owners are Vijaya Fitriyasa and Sigid Haryo Wibisono with a share composition of 70-20 percent.

In early March, Gibran also stated that the new owner of Persis Solo would be discussed with the frontman of Pasoepati (a supporter of Persis Solo), Maryadi 'Gondrong' Suryadharma.

"Exactly, I will have a meeting with Mr. Gondrong in the near future, so take it easy anyway. I will solve it one by one," said Gibran as quoted from the Berita Surakarta YouTube account, Monday, March 8.

Gibran then emphasized that the owner of Persis Solo will be announced approaching the Menpora Cup on 21 March.
