Police Name 11 Suspects In The Beating Case In Madiun
MADIUN - Madiun City Resort Police (Polres) officers named 11 people as suspects in the beating that occurred in Madiun City, East Java, causing a number of people to be injured.
Madiun City Police Chief AKBP Agus Dwi Suryanto said of the 11 perpetrators named as suspects, nine were minors or children, while the other two were 19 years old and 22 years old.
"For suspects, children under the age of 17 are not detained and we have determined that they must report. Meanwhile, for the two adult suspects we detained according to the applicable regulations," said AKBP Agus as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 5.
According to him, the beating involving a community called "Specific Unit of the King of Tega" or "Sakura" with a group of unknown people occurred in mid-May. The location of the incident is in three places, namely Jalan Yos Sudarso, Jalan Kalasan, and Jalan Puspo Warno.
The beating took place after the Sakura community held a 4th birthday celebration at a cafe on Jalan Yos Sudarso. When he came home early in the morning, the Sakura community met an unknown group of people, then there was mutual ridicule and finally clashed.

The actions of the two gangs also continued with the destruction of the kiosks of residents on Jalan Kalasan, Patihan Village and the retaliatory action to stab the victim on behalf of Zakia on Jalan Puspo Warno, Manguharjo District. The injured victim had undergone treatment at the hospital.
Despite having named 11 suspects, the police are still investigating the case further. The police are also investigating the involvement of the Sakura chairman in the action. Because, as is known, the Sakura community is not from Madiun City.
