The Manliness Of TNI Commander To Lead The COVID-19 Vaccination For 1,286 Soldiers In Jogja

JAKARTA - Commander of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto directly led the COVID-19 vaccination for TNI soldiers in the Yogyakarta area which was held at Skadik 102, Adi Sucipto Air Base, Yogyakarta, Saturday, March 13.

The vaccination was attended by 1,286 TNI soldiers consisting of 572 TNI Army, 142 TNI Navy, and 572 TNI Air Force in the Yogyakarta area and involved 97 TNI vaccinators.

The TNI Commander hopes that after receiving the vaccine, the TNI soldiers will be more optimal in carrying out their duties in the community, especially in helping "tracing" close contacts, enforcing disciplinary health protocols, and the national vaccination program.

"With the success of the vaccination program, it is hoped that it will help the national economic recovery program," said Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto in a statement received in Jakarta, as reported by Antara.

He emphasized that soldiers who have been vaccinated remain disciplined in implementing health protocols.

"Because that is the main weapon and the most effective step to reduce the rate of transmission of COVID-19 in Indonesia," said the TNI Commander.

Previously, the TNI Commander also led the 'rush' for COVID-19 vaccination for TNI soldiers who were in Malang Raya, East Java, Friday, March 12.

The 'rush' for COVID-19 vaccination was directed at 1,323 soldiers of all elements of the TNI, namely the TNI Army, TNI Navy, and TNI Air Force throughout Malang Raya, and involved 90 TNI vaccinators.
