NVIDIA Launches Latest RTX Technology For AI Assistant And Digital Humans

JAKARTA NVIDIA, on Sunday 2 June, announced the latest innovation at the 2024 COMPUTEX by introducing RTXTM technology that will support assistant AI and digital humans running on the latest GeForce RTXTM AI laptop.

NVIDIA launched Project G-Assist, a RTX-based AI assistant technology demo that provides contextual assistance for PC games and applications. Project G-Assist was first introduced with game ARK: Survive Ascended from Studio Wildcard. In addition, NVIDIA also introduced the first NVIDIA NIMTM micro-inference service for PC-based NVIDIA ACE digital human platform.

This technology is supported by NVIDIA RTX AI Toolkit, a suite of software development tools and kits that assist developers in optimizing and implementing a large generative AI model on Windows PCs. These innovations will join RTX AI full-stack NVIDIA technology which has accelerated more than 500 applications and PC games as well as support 200 laptop designs from various manufacturers.

The latest RTX AI PC laptops from ASUS and MSI announced at this event are equipped with GPU GeForce RTX 4070 and power-efficient on-on-a-chip systems with Windows 11 PC AI capabilities. These laptops will also receive free updates for the Copilot+ PC experience when available.

"In 2018, NVIDIA started the PC AI era by releasing RTX Tensor Core and NVIDIA DLSS GPUs," said Jason Paul, vice president of consumer AI at NVIDIA. "Now, with Project G-Assist and NVIDIA ACE, we are opening up the next generation of AI-backed experiences for more than 100 million RTX AI PC users."

Project G-Assist: Assistant AI GeForce

Assistant AI is expected to change the gaming experience and in the app from offering game play strategies and analyzing multiplayer replays to helping complex creative workflows. Project G-Assist is designed to answer these challenges by providing AI-based assistance that understands the context of the game and the specific needs of players.

NIM Debut PC ACE Pertama

NVIDIA ACE technology that supports digital humans is now present on PC AI RTX and workstation with NVIDIA NIM micro-inference services that allow developers to reduce their implementation time from week to minute. ACE NIM microservices provide high-quality inference that runs locally on devices for understanding natural languages, speech synthesis, facial animation, and more.

Windows Copilot Runtime Adds GPU Acceleration For Local PC SLMs

Microsoft and NVIDIA are also working together to help developers bring new generative AI capabilities to Windows and web original applications. This collaboration will provide app developers with easy API access to GPU accelerated small language models (SLMs), enabling the retrival-augmented generation (RAG) capabilities running on devices as part of Windows Copilot Runtime.

RTX AI Toolkit: 4x Faster, Smaller 3x Model

NVIDIA also introduced RTX AI Toolkit, a suite of tools and SDK for model customization, optimization, and application to RTX AI PCs. RTX AI toolkit will be available later this month for wider developer access.

AI For Content Making

NVIDIA also integrates RTX AI acceleration into applications for creators, modder, and video enthusiasts.
