Ukraine Peace Summit In Switzerland Is Considered Just A Waste Of Time
The Kremlin called the refusal of some countries to take part in a summit on peace on Ukraine held in Switzerland this month because the meeting had no clear and unreasonable purpose to host it without Russia.
Ukraine said more than 100 countries and organizations had agreed to attend a summit on June 15-16, but Moscow was not invited.
"This is a completely unreasonable activity, it's a futile hobby," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
He said the meeting was not aimed at achieving results, and "that's why many countries don't want to waste time."

In recent weeks a number of NATO countries have said they will allow Ukraine to attack targets in Russian territory with weapons they supply to Kyiv, something President Vladimir Putin warned could escalate the war into a global conflict.
