Resigning From The Position Of Deputy Head Of Authority, Dhony Rahajoe: I Support The Success Of IKN According To Its Goals
JAKARTA - Former Deputy Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Dhony Rahajoe opened his voice regarding his decision to resign from his position starting Monday, June 3, 2024.
Dhony explained that serving as Deputy Chair of OIKN is an honor and valuable experience that will not be forgotten. He is grateful to be part of the history of Indonesia to the world.
"Although I no longer serve as Deputy Chief of OIKN, I will always support the success of IKN in accordance with its objectives, namely a sustainable city in the world, a center for national economic movement and a symbol of Indonesia's diversity," he said in a written statement, quoted on Tuesday, June 4.
He considered that the development of the IKN ecosystem as a center of new growth must continue to be supported. According to him, realizing IKN is a noble task for all parties and a historic opportunity to transform towards a new civilization of the Indonesian nation that is better.
"I personally feel that I haven't done much for IKN. On this occasion, I congratulate the new leaders at the IKN Authority. Hopefully, all matters will be carried out and made easier for Him," said Dhony.
Not to forget, Dhony apologized for his actions or unpleasant remarks during his tenure as Deputy Chief of OIKN.

For your information, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated Dhony Rahajoe as Deputy Head of OIKN on March 10, 2022. However, after two years in office, Dhony decided to resign from his position. The resignation letter has been received by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Meanwhile, Jokowi has appointed Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN Raja Juli Antoni to be the Acting Deputy Head of the IKN Authority starting Monday, June 3.
