5 Prisoners Escape, 12 Barru Police Members Examined By South Sulawesi Police Propam
The Professional and Security Division of the South Sulawesi Regional Police together with the Paminal team examined 12 members of the Barru Police regarding the escape of five detainees from the local police cell room.
"Ada 12 anggota sudah diperiksa oleh Paminal Polres Barru dibackupPropam Polda Sulsel. Untuk penjabat masih dalam pencarian," kata Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Sulsel Kombes Didik Supranoto dikutip ANTARA, Senin, 3 Juni.
The five detainees who escaped were Hasrullah alias Baso, Muh Al Qadri, Herdi, Munir alias Koang, and Raisdar. Two detainees were involved in narcotics cases, namely Hasrullah and Muh Z. Al Qadri.
The five detainees escaped through the back cell wall of the Barru Police on Sunday (2/6) in the morning. They broke through the wall near the clothes.

After breaking into a wall about 20 centimeters, the detainees walked into the prisoner's drying room through the unlocked door and at that time it was suspected that they had escaped from the supervision of the officers.
Later, the guard officers who just found out that a prisoner had escaped and immediately moved quickly to pursue him, but as of Monday (3/4) morning these detainees had not been found.
"The escaped detainees are still being sought. The information is that prisoners broke into the walls of the detention cells. It happened around the morning at 3 am," said Didik.
Separately, the Head of the Propam Division of the South Sulawesi Police, Kombes Zulham Effendy, emphasized that all those involved and responsible for the alleged negligence were examined and have been held accountable.
