Opposite Direction, In The Last 3 Months 4,079 Vehicles In Jakarta Have Been Ticketed

JAKARTA - Joint Cross Jaya Team officers took action against BAP and ticketing at 4,079 vehicles that went against the direction in Jakarta from February to May 2024.

"The number of vehicles being prosecuted from February 22 to May 31, 2024, is 4,079 vehicles," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo in his statement, Monday, June 3.

Over the past week, Syafrin said that the joint team of the DKI Provincial Government, the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, and the TNI, had caught 307 vehicles in the opposite direction.

The enforcement locations are carried out at 24 points, namely the Karet Tengsin, Kalibata, Jalan KH Wahid Hasyim, Senen Raya, Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Tanah Merdeka traffic light (TL), TL Access Marunda, Peganggsaan Dua.

Then, Kapuk road ring, Cengkareng Sluice Gate, Latumenten, Daan Mogot, Kalideres, Cengkareng road ring, Rawa Buaya road ring, Sunday Market, Brigif, Lebak Bulus.

Furthermore, Klender Market, Bekasi Raya, Pondok Kopi Fly Over, I Gusti Ngurahrai, Jalan Pemuda Rawamangun, and Jalan Perintis Pulo Gadung.

The action of motorized vehicles against traffic flows has been routinely carried out since February 22. Every week, prosecution is carried out in different locations.

Syafrin said this action was carried out to increase community discipline in complying with traffic order on the road.

"The action will take place from 07.30-10.00 WIB in the morning and at 16.00-18.00 in the afternoon which was carried out in several locations in Jakarta," explained Syafrin.
