Residents Of Jatinegara Indah Cakung Housing Complain About Their Area Prone To Theft
JAKARTA - Residents of Jatinegara Indah Housing, Cakung District, East Jakarta admitted that in their area it was prone to theft. Anshori, one of the victims of the theft, said that theft in his area has often occurred.
"It's often here, usually bicycles or motorbikes. Not long ago our neighbors at the end (lost) bicycles and (the house) behind it were also (lost) motorbikes," Anshori told reporters, Sunday, June 2.
He hopes that members of the Police will be more disciplined and tighten security in their area. In addition, housing security officers must also tighten the access of outsiders who enter this residential area so that they are not too free to go in and out.
"The guard is tighter. If the perpetrator can surrender himself so that he can wake up and not commit his crimes again. So as not to harm other people," he said.
Ansori is a victim of theft of car mirrors. Two of his car mirrors were stolen by thieves while parking in front of the house. Luckily, the car mirror theft was caught on CCTV cameras at the scene.

"We can see from the CCTV, he immediately put it in his shirt and to his right. The theft was less than 1 minute, only a matter of seconds he succeeded and immediately fled," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the theft of two car mirrors in the Jatinegara Indah residential area, Cakung District, East Jakarta was caught on CCTV cameras while carrying out the action.
In the action, the perpetrator had monitored the situation and the victim's vehicle which was parked in front of his house.
From the CCTV footage, the perpetrator was seen coming on a motorbike and stopped in his target car. This black SUV type car was then targeted by the perpetrators of the mirror theft.
During the action, the perpetrator was suspected of being a specialist in theft of car mirrors. The perpetrator was recorded wearing a red jacket and hat and shorts.
