Still Holding Fuel Prices, Pertamina: Support The Government To Maintain Economic Stability

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) through its subsidiary, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, again did not increase the price of non-subsidized fuel in June.

Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Irto Ginting said the decision not to change fuel prices refers to several aspects listed in the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 regarding the JBU or non-subsidized fuel price formulation. In this regulation, the calculation of fuel price formulations is influenced by the US dollar exchange rate and MOPS.

"The adjustment of non-subsidized fuel prices does refer to regulations. However, in the current conditions, we support the Government's efforts to maintain economic stability," explained Irto in a written statement, Saturday, June 1.
