KemenPPPA Accompanied The Examination Of SLBN Students Victims Of Rape In West Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Women and Child Protection (Kemen-PPPA) continues to oversee the case of disabled students who were victims of immorality with the initials AS (15) in Kalideres, West Jakarta.

"Here, children with disabilities certainly need special handling in the legal process, whether later there is a child of the perpetrator involved or what, what is certain is that we will continue to provide assistance," said Assistant Assistant Assistant for Child Services at the Ministry of PPPA Atwirlany Ritonga, Antara, Friday 31 May.

Now, said Atwirlany, the police investigation process has been running after the police report (LP) from the victim.

"The process (police report) is still in its early stages, so we are waiting for this examination process to run," he said.

Regarding the completeness of the examination file, Kemen-PPPA submitted it to the examination process.

"If the (completeness) of the document depends on the examination process, there is information from the witness, the testimony of the victim's child, then the family assistant in this case also assists," he said.

This, he said, could certainly be the basis for the police to determine that this process could go up to the next stage.

Therefore, his party ensures that the things conveyed by the victim when making the report have been conveyed correctly with a sign interpreter prepared.

"That's why we provide a signal interpreter through the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the DKI Jakarta Integrated Service Center (PPPA) to ensure that the information provided by the victim's child to the police during the examination can really be tested for validity," he said.

The victim on Wednesday, May 29 night underwent a post-mortem at the Tarakan Regional General Hospital (RSUD) after making a police report (LP) at the West Jakarta Metro Police.

"LP has been completed, after the LP we immediately went through a post-mortem at the Tarakan Hospital," said the victim's uncle, Suwondo in Jakarta.

The post-mortem was carried out specifically on the wound in the victim's body 'vital' section.

"Visum is injured in the genitals," he added.

According to Suwondo, the case handling process will continue after the results of the post-mortem come out. In addition, a Deuxyribo Nucleic Acid (DNA) test will most likely be carried out on the victim's fetus.

"Most likely a DNA test of the victim's fetus will be carried out as well," said Suwondo.
