NETA V-II Electric Car Officially Starts Production In Indonesia
PT NETA Auto Indonesia officially made local production completely Knocked Down (CKD) today, which is located at the PT Handal Indonesia Motor factory in Pondok Ungu, Bekasi, West Java.
This local production marks an important milestone in NETA's efforts to strengthen its position in the Indonesian electric car market, as well as support the government's program to increase the Domestic Component Level (TKDN).
Co founder & Co President of Neta Auto Kong FanLong expressed his gratitude to the Government of Indonesia, PT Handal Indonesia Motor, as well as partners and colleagues who have supported our efforts to commit to presenting electric cars with advanced, premium, and quality technology locally.
"With this moment, it is an important history for NETA, which has now succeeded in expanding in Indonesia. We believe that this step will not only strengthen our position in the market, but also make a significant contribution to the development of the automotive industry in the country," he said, in his official statement, Friday, May 31.

The series of events began with a signing ceremony that marked a strategic collaboration between PT NETA Auto Indonesia and PT Handal Indonesia Motor. The signing became a symbol of the commitment of both parties in presenting high-quality electric vehicles with a touch of local production. The event continued with a procession of production inauguration by showing the symbolic assembly of the NETA V-II electric car, from the early stages to the final stages.
NETA V-II as the latest line-up is not only produced locally, but also has a TKDN of 44 percent thanks to the support of PT Govern Green Energy Solutions Indonesia as an environmentally friendly Lithium Ferro-Phosphate (LFP) battery supplier. And since its introduction through the 2024 Electric Vehicle Show, NETA V-II managed to record up to 200 SPKs.
"This achievement is a concrete step for NETA, in fulfilling government regulations related to the use of local components, as well as encouraging the development of the domestic component industry," he added.
Furthermore, he said that Neta's commitment would not stop here because it would continue to present quality electric cars and premium after-sale services for all people in Indonesia.
"We hope that NETA can meet market demand for smart and environmentally friendly electric cars for the long term. In the future, we also hope that this factory can become a production base to support the export of NETA products from Indonesia worldwide," concluded Kong FanLong.
