Dejan/Gloria are the second representatives of Indonesia who were eliminated in the second round of the Singapore Open 2024. Previously, Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo's men's singles had already lifted the suitcase.
Dejan said that he and his partner lost the start today. He said the opponent was much more prepared and managed to attack first, making them look uncomfortable.
"We panicked and in the end we couldn't get out of the pressure. In addition, the shuttlecock was a bit difficult to control, unstable," he said.
Previously, a ticket to the quarter-finals for Indonesia had been secured by Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.
The couple got a pass ticket without having to compete because their potential opponent from Ukraine, Polina Buhrova/Yevheniia Kantemyr, withdrew.
