Virgin Airlines Flights Experience Constraints Trigger Emergency Response At UK Airport

JAKARTA - Edinburgh Airport was flooded with emergency services after Virgin Atlantic flights made an emergency landing.

The plane reportedly suffered damage to the front of the plane after departing from Orlando, Florida, and needed help on landing.

Landing front tires reportedly had low pressure, triggering fears of an accident on the runway of more than 3,000 people witnessing the landing on FlightRadar24.

The plane has now landed safely, and emergency vehicles are handling the flight.

A Virgin Atlantic spokesman said as a precaution, his party asked related parties to check flights of VS226 traveling from Orlando to Edinburgh after landing due to low nose-wheeled tires.

"The safety of our customers and crew has always been our top priority and the plane landed as usual," he added.

Direct flights to and from Orlando just resumed last month, said Edinburgh Airport, with two services operating per week.

Another scheduled departure leaving Edinburgh was delayed due to the plane landing, and another flight that arrived had to delay until the runway was cleared.

The flight has landed and is handled by an emergency response vehicle. The plane has been removed from the runway and operations have resumed.
