Will File An Exception, Panca Darmansyah's Legal Team Says There Are Inaccurate Indictments

JAKARTA - Panca Darmansyah's team of attorneys, Amriadi Pasaribu, revealed the reason his party would file an exception or objection to the indictment against his client.

According to Amriadi, the exception was taken not because the article proposed by the prosecutor, but regarding the chronology of Panca Darmansyah committing the crime was not appropriate.

"There is something chronological that he wants to correct. If we convey it, it is indeed a wrong act," Amriadi told reporters at the South Jakarta District Court (PN), Wednesday, May 29.

"But he has his own story, what he sees, he experiences it. That's what he wants to convey, that's all. Not denying the articles submitted rather than the public prosecutor. It's just the story," he continued.

Amriadi explained that there was a part of the story of the witness, Dika Kurniawan Haryono, regarding his role which was stated by the Public Prosecutor that it was not in accordance with the original story based on Panca Darmansyah's statement.

One of them was like witness Dika. The witness Dika exists, not yet detailed. Witness Dika is not like that. (The role) is that we and Panca will explore later, because when I asked what was not appropriate. But most importantly, witness Dika," he said.

Previously, Panca Darmansyah's legal team would file an exception related to the indictment read by the prosecutor.

This was also conveyed during the inaugural Panca trial which was held at the South Jakarta District Court, today, May 29, at 11.00 WIB.
