Corruption Suspects Procurement Of Completeness Of Houses Of DPR Members Not Detained, KPK Says This
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the detention of a suspect in the alleged corruption in the procurement of the completeness of the official house of a member of the DPR is waiting for the calculation of state losses.
Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said the process of calculating state losses was carried out by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) and the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP). They must pocket the results before making efforts to force detention.
"As an understanding that this is a case related to Article 2 and Article 3. This means that there is a determination of state losses which is coordination with BPK and BPKP," Ali told reporters quoted on Wednesday, May 29.
"After finishing there, at the institution that calculates state financial losses, of course we will complete the next process, namely the summoning of suspects and detention," he continued.
Ali has not yet specified who the suspect is in this case. However, he mentioned the pretrial submitted to the South Jakarta District Court (PN) and revoked by the Secretary General of the DPR Indra Iskandar.
One of the suspects felt aggrieved because he became a suspect and filed a pretrial was the Secretary General of the DPR. Because he was the executor and several other people were said to have jointly carried out the project and there was a process that was carried out inappropriately, causing state losses," Ali explained.
