West Java Police Name Trans Putera Bus Workshop Owner Fajar Suspect In Deadly Accident In Ciater
The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of the West Java Police named two new suspects with the initials AI and A in the case of a tourism bus accident on Jalan Ciater, Subang Regency, on Saturday (11/5).
West Java Police Traffic Director Kombes Wibowo explained that the suspect AI is an entrepreneur and owner of the Trans Putera Fajar bus repair shop, while suspect A is a party that is trusted to operate the bus.
"A case has been held and the results of the title determined that the two people, brother A and AI, were suspects because they should have been suspected of having committed an unlawful act intentionally and negligently," said Wibodo in Bandung, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 29.
Previously, the West Java Police Traffic Directorate named a suspect, namely the tourism bus driver of the Lingga Kencana Depok Vocational School group with the initials S in an accident that resulted in 11 deaths.
Kusworo revealed that suspect A deliberately changed the design of the Trans Putera Fajar bus using a decree to design an unlicensed workshop and the workshop he manages also does not have a permit.
"The workshop in question does not have a permit to change the dimensions or design a bus vehicle," he said.
Suspect A is a party trusted by AI to operate the bus. Suspect A ordered driver S to bring a bus carrying a group of students from Depok.
