Iran And Oman Cooperate To Stop Israel's Crimes In Gaza
JAKARTA - Iran's interim foreign minister Ali Bagheri Kani said the Iranian and Oman governments would work together more seriously to stop the crimes of the Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip.
Minister Ali Bagheri held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sultanate Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi who was visiting and joining a press conference in Tehran, Monday, May 27.
"We must carry out more serious efforts to immediately stop the crime (Israel) and make serious efforts to send humanitarian aid (to Gaza). Iran and Oman will establish serious and effective cooperation in the coming period," Ali Bagheri said as quoted by ANTARA from MNA-OANA.
He also said the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs would continue the neighboring policy implemented by the late President Ebrahim Raeisi and his Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
"Iran's determination is to make this happen. There should be no gap in friendly relations with neighboring countries," he said.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Oman Al Busaidi said that the two sides talked about the continuation of the consultation between the two countries. He is also scheduled to meet with other top Iranian officials.
"In addition, we are also discussing various other cases, regarding bilateral cooperation and joint issues in the region, the most important thing is the Palestinian issue," he said.
Regarding the tragic helicopter crash, Sultan Oman, Haitham bin Tariq conveyed his condolences through a message to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution for the martyrdom of Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi and his accompanying delegation.
