Man's Body Drowning In Pesanggrahan River Found 3 Km From Lost Location
The joint Sar team finally found the body of a man drowning in Pesanggrahan River on Sunday, May 26 afternoon. The man's body was found 3 Kilometers (Km) from a missing location.
"The condition has been floating in the Pesanggrahan River flow at a radius of approximately 3 KM," said Public Relations of the Jakarta Basarnas, Ramli Prasetyo in his statement, Sunday, May 26.
The body of a man named Bambang Gunawan who was reported drowned on Friday, May 24, was immediately taken to a funeral home in the North Meruya area, West Jakarta.
"The incident then immediately evacuated to the funeral home located in North Meruya Village, Kembangan District, West Jakarta," he said.
Previously, the joint SAR team conducted a sweep of a man who slipped while crossing the riverbanks until he was finally dragged by the current and drowned.
Reports of the drowning man came from residents who contacted the DKI Jakarta Basarnas. Dozens of personnel were deployed to find the whereabouts of the victim.
"Conducting a search using a rubber boat along the Pesanggrahan river flow up to a radius of 10 km from the scene. Until now, we are still searching," he said.
