Build Superior Human Resources, AHM Together With Wahana Makmur Sejati Consistently Prepares Students To Face The World Of Work
JAKARTA - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) together with PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (WMS) continues to encourage students to be ready to face the world of work. A number of facilities and infrastructure are provided so that the younger generation can be absorbed by industry.
One of them is Vocational High School (SMK) assisted by PT AHM which has been initiated since 2010. In collaboration with various Main Dealers, the SMK assisted by PT AHM is hundreds in 34 provinces in Indonesia.
"In addition to the participation of a number of AHASS, we also have a Training Center in Jatake, Tangerang to improve and test competence not only students, but also teachers at 56 SMK assisted by PT AHM in Jakarta-Tangerang," said PT WMS Head of Technical Service Department Benedict F. Maharanto, in his official statement, Wednesday, May 22.
SMK assisted by PT AHM carries a curriculum called Motorcycle Engineering (TSM) Astra Honda with the concept of technical factory (TEFA). Honda also monitors and assists the development of students.

The reason is, PT WMS also established synergies with various Astra Honda Authorized Service Station (AHASS) workshops in Jakarta-Tangerang to develop the potential of these fostered vocational school students.
The man who is familiarly called Beni continues, the development and competency testing of students and teaching staff is carried out in stages, systematic, and sustainable.
"Not long ago, for example, we held a Certified Competency Test (UKK) equivalent to technical training level (TTL) 1 so that graduate students who worked at AHASS could increase their competence to TTL 2. In total, there were 25 students who graduated from SMK assisted by PT AHM who had worked in AHASS in Jakarta and Tangerang," said Beni.
Beni said all of this proves Honda's great commitment to building superior human resources (HR), in the field of vocational that suits industrial needs, especially AHASS.
