Investigate Allegations Of Malpractice Puskesmas In Cianjur Killed 10-Year-Old Boy, Police Summon Witness
JABAR - The Cianjur Resort Police (Polres) summoned witnesses from the patient's family and the puskesmas regarding reports of alleged malpractice that caused the victim Daffa Algifari Nugraha (10) to die after receiving treatment at the Sindangbarang Health Center.
Kasatreskrim Cianjur Police AKP Tono Listianto said his party had followed up on reports of alleged malpractice reported by the parents of the victim Syarifah Lawati (44) to the Cianjur Police.
"We summoned seven witnesses, either from the family of the patient who died or from the puskesmas, the case is under further investigation, we will summon several other witnesses for questioning," he said in Cianjur, West Java (West Java), Tuesday, May 21, as reported by Antara.
In fact, his party will conduct an exhumation or dig a grave to perform an autopsy on the body of the victim who has been buried to determine the cause of the victim's death.
"We will conduct an exhumation in the near future because the victim has been buried," he said.
Head of Sindangbarang Health Center Nanang Priatna, said the medical action given to the victim was in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and denied any allegations of malpractice.
"Based on the initial diagnosis, patients experience high fever and seizures usually occur due to fever, so the handling given is in accordance with the SOP from the beginning to the action," he said.
Meanwhile, the parents of the victim Syarifah Lawati (44) finally reported the alleged malpractice that befell her son Daffa Algifari Nugraha (10), Monday, April 22, who died after undergoing treatment at the Sindangbarang Health Center, where the victim had received three injections.

The injection of liquid into the infusion three times because after the first injection the child returned to a seizure and the second injection of her child's whole body turned blue, so different nurses came again injecting fluids into the infusion.
"I ask for clarity on why my son died since the incident one month ago, no one gave an explanation. I hope the police can reveal allegations of malpractice that befell my child so that there will be no further victims," said Syarifah.
