Ahead Of The Launch Of BYD Seal 06 DM-i Trial Without Stickers, Here Are The Specifications

JAKARTA - BYD will launch Seal 06 DM-i in the near future. In fact, the car was caught on camera being tested on the streets of the bamboo curtain country without a camouflage sticker.

Reporting from CarNewsChina, Tuesday, May 21, this car has a length of up to 4,830 mm, a width of 1,875 mm, a height of 1,495 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,790 mm, where it is almost familiar with its electric brother, Seal.

In addition, this car design has similarities to Seal. This is not surprising because both are included in the Ocean series. Seal 06 DM-i will be positioned between Destroyer 05 and Seal DM-i.

The inside contains an instrument cluster of 8.8 inches and a central screen. Higher variants will get a 15.6-inch central screen that can rotate and the presence of a hot front seat feature and ventilation.

Carrying BYD's fifth-generation plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology, this car is powered by a 1.5 liter engine that produces 74 kW of power combined with a 120 or 160 kW electric motor. In addition, Seal 06 DM-i has 10 and 15 kWh battery packages.

Thus, this coupe car can run on pure power as far as 80 and 120 km according to CLTC depending on each variant.

Unfortunately, BYD has not disclosed the price of the model. However, it is estimated that Seal 06 DM-i will be priced between 120,000 and 150,000 yuan (equivalent to Rp265.9 million and Rp332.4 million).
