Jurgen Klopp's Farewell To The Touching Liverpool
JAKARTA - Jurgen Klopp gave a farewell speech after Liverpool's final week match in the 2023/2024 Premier League on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Anfield Stadium.
The 56-year-old German saw his team beat Wolverhampton 2-0 to close nine years of his sparkling leadership.
After the match, he gave a farewell speech to Anfield's public.
Jurgen Klopp's wife, Ulla, burst into tears as the Liverpool manager bid farewell to Merseyside's club and public.
Previously, in injury time, the camera immediately focused on Ulla. When the match was nearing its end, Ulla was seen wiping tears.
The final whistle sounded, Klopp received a lively applause from his supporters at Anfield.
As respect continued after the match, Ulla was not the only person at Anfield to look touched.

The 25-year-old full-back just got to know life at Liverpool when he was handled by Klopp. He made his senior debut in 2016.
Not only Arnold, captain Virgil van Dijk was moved after sharing hugs with his manager.
After cheering for The Kop for the last time, Klopp then used the microphone to talk to the audience.
"I was shocked. I thought I was devastated, but I wasn't. I'm very happy with all of you, the atmosphere, the game, being part of this family and about us, how we celebrate today."
"It doesn't feel like it's an end. It feels like a start. Today I saw the football team playing full of talent, youth, creativity and dreams. It's a part of development and that's what you need of course."

After the farewell speech, a number of players were interviewed by the media, one of whom was Van Dijk.
He looked nervous when asked for a response regarding Klopp's departure.
"I can't say anything. It's been an emotional day. It's always been a tough day."

Meanwhile, Klopp is now ready to temporarily retire with Ulla at their luxurious new place at Mallorca.

Klopp's manager seat will be occupied by Arne Slot, who previously coached Feyenoord.
