ChatGPT Now Integrated With Google Drive Services

JAKARTA ChatGPT, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based chatbot developed by OpenAI, launched integration support to Google Drive. Although it has been launched, this feature cannot be used by all users. Earlier this month, the owner of the legit_rumors account on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, revealed that ChatGPT adds context connector features that can access Google Drive. This feature can also access One Drive Personal and Business. Once tested, 9to5google reports that the feature to access documents in this cloud service has been widely launched. However, this feature can only be used by ChatGPT Enterprise customers, not ordinary users or users with free packages. Using this new feature, it seems that users can enter a number of commands related to files from Google Drive or One Drive. To access this new feature, users can click the attachment icon next to the message box. After clicking the attachment icon, users can click the Add option from Google Drive. After that, select files such as documents or spreadsheets that wish to be used as appendices. Users can directly enter file names from search boxes. Actually, the function of this feature is still unclear because OpenAI has not announced the launch of its features officially. It is also unknown which commands can be included when using an appendix from Google Drive.

If you are a loyal Google Drive user, you can also use the Gemini feature that has been added to the app. By using Gemini, users can summarize or search for certain topics from within the file without the need to open them. Gemini's integration to Google Drive will certainly be much better than ChatGPT's integration. The reason is, Gemini can walk on Google Drive's side panel, if using a website, so users don't need to open other apps.
