Denies Likes To Party, Sophie Turner Reveals Strong Reasons For Divorce From Joe Jonas
JAKARTA - Sophie Turner opened her first voice about her divorce from Joe Jonas. The young couple who had been together for eight years decided to separate in 2023.
In her latest interview, Sophie Turner admitted that the beginning of the divorce period was a difficult time. He wasn't even sure if he could face it or not.
"There were days when I didn't know if I was capable, I contacted my lawyer and said 'I can't do it. I couldn't't' I didn't feel strong enough to defend myself,' Sophie Turner told British Vogue.
It is known shortly after their divorce circulated, the reason why Sophie and Joe divorced was called Sophie who often left.
"Two weeks after staying, my lawyer reminded me that what I stand for are my children," he explained.
"There are people who have said to me 'Do it for the sake of my kids' I did it. I didn't do it (divide) for myself but I will find strength for them," he said.
When they separated, Sophie Turner was in England filming her latest series, Joan, while Joe Jonas and their two children, Willa and chance were in the United States. Speculation about their divorce arises, one of which is called Turner having too many parties.

"I contracted on set for another two weeks, so I can't go. My kids in America and I can't see them because I have to finish Joan. And then all of these articles come out," he said.
"It hurts because I feel like I'm torturing myself in every decision I make as a mother - a mother's guilt is real. I keep talking to myself 'All this is not true. You are a good mother and you are not someone who likes parties,' he said again.
"You can't imagine a person who made it up for a photo. A photo can reveal thousands of words, but that's not my story. It's like watching a film I've never written before. I'm still surprised," he said again.
"I'm not happy with what happened, especially when it comes to children's business. They are victims of all this. But I think we are trying to do what we can. Joe is a good father to our children and that's all I ask for," Turner said.
Currently, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are still extending their agreement on custody. Their two children are allowed to stay at Joe's home in the United States or Sophie in England.
