BNN Jambi Raids Drug Basecamp, Secures 14 Methamphetamine Users
JAKARTA - The Jambi Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) arrested 14 users of methamphetamine in a house that was the basecamp for drug abuse in Tangkit Village, Muaro Jambi.
Head of BNNP Jambi Brigadier General Wisnu Handoko said the raid took place on Monday, May 13 at around 17.00 WIB.
At that time, the Jambi National Narcotics Agency received a complaint from the public on suspicion of drug abuse and trafficking in the area. Getting the complaint, the team immediately investigated the information and the location in question.
In one of the houses in question, personnel did not find anyone who was carrying out A's drug abuse trading activities.
The officers also did not find any evidence of narcotics in the house.
"Arriving at the house, we did not find anyone who was carrying out buying and selling activities, there were no items related to narcotics either," he said in Jambi, Wednesday, May 15, which was confiscated by Antara.

While the team was still at the location, several people came to the house. Some of these people are suspected of being narcotics users.
After being investigated, officers received information that they had come to buy methamphetamine.
The 14 people were immediately taken to the Jambi BNNP Office for further examination. The results of the examination showed that the 14 people tested positive for methamphetamine.
Currently 14 people who are positive for drugs are still being detained for further investigation.
The 14 people are HI (24), L (23), R (39), RH (35), WS (29), J (40), YS (29), RN (30), BSP (34), SM (30), S (41), RA (24), LCA (31), MS (32). They are residents of Jambi City and Muaro Jambi Regency.
