The Motive For The Persecution Of The Sigi Kalukubula Residents By Members Of The Central Sulawesi Police Ditpolairud Is Still Not Clear

Central Sulawesi Regional Police confirmed that a member of the Directorate of Water and Air Police (Ditpolairud) suspected of molesting Kalukubula residents, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, would be prosecuted."The Central Sulawesi Police Integrated Service Center (SPKT) has received a report about a case of abuse by Polairud officers from the Central Sulawesi Regional Police," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police, Kombes Djoko Wienartono when contacted in Palu City, Antara, Sunday, May 12.The alleged abuse case was reported by a woman named Nana Marisa (30) and was stated in the LP/B/103/V/2024/SPKT police report of the Central Sulawesi Police on May 10, 2023.Djoko said the perpetrators of the persecution were members of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Ditpolairud with the rank of Aipda (Adjunct Inspector of Police Two) with the initials RM.The incident took place on Friday, May 10 at around 14:47 WITA in South Tinggede Village, Marawola District, Sigi Regency. Meanwhile, the motive for the persecution is still at the investigation stage."According to the contents of the report, the persecution was carried out empty-handed. As for the motive, we are waiting for the results of the investigation," said Djoko.The Central Sulawesi Regional Police has confirmed that members of the Ditpolairuid who are involved in criminal acts will be processed according to the applicable law.
