BMW M4 CS Recently Officially Released, Offers Dynamical Driving

JAKARTA - Good news for BMW M lovers around the world. The reason is, this German manufacturer officially launched the latest M4 CS. This is the first time the CS edition has been presented on the second generation M4 basis.

According to the brand's official page, Wednesday, May 8, the latest M4 CS carries chassis technology that has been adjusted so that engine performance can blend with its dynamic characteristics.

The car is powered by a number of personalized tunings and regulation of the wheelcamber, spring damping, and anti-roll rods specially made to optimize precision driving styles.

In order to maximize the capacity of M4 CS, BMW gave it an electronically regulateable M adaptive suspension damper. In addition, dynamics Control (DSC) and Dynamic Mode systems are also presented that can adjust the specific needs of driving on circuits dynamically.

BMW uses a component made from Carbon Fibre-Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) that plays a role in easing the weight of this vehicle. The carbon fiber roof is the main example, its light weight makes the center of gravity of the car closer to the road, thereby increasing pinning luminosity and dynamics.

The engine hood, front splitter, front air entry channel, outer rear rear rear rear rear filter, and Gurney-style rear spoiler are also made of this lightweight and high-tech material.

Interior also uses this material on the center console, the middle shift behind the wheel, and interior trim elements. This special edition model also comes as a standard with M Carbon bucket seat, whose construction minimizes weight by highlighting the use of CFRP on the structural element of bearing and armchair and attractive cuts on the back.

In addition, the disposal system comes 4 kg lighter thanks to the use of back damping made from titanium. So, overall, light designs make the weight of this car drop by about 20 kilograms compared to M4 Competition Coupé M xDrive.

The latest BMW M4 CS is equipped with a fresh 6-cylinder engine that produces up to 550 dk of power, an increase of 20 dk compared to the M4 Competition Coupe M xDrive with a 650 Nm peak torque.

This fast engine is supported by the transmission of eight M Steptronic accelerations with Drivelogic and a specially developed all-wheel drive M xDrive driving system.

Thus, this sports sedan can run from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in just 11.1 seconds. This special edition of M4 can run at a maximum speed of 302 km/hour.

In addition, the latest BMW M4 CS has also conducted a trial at the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit by obtaining an official time of 7 minutes 21.9 seconds on track consisting of 154 corners.

The car will be assembled at BMW's Digolfing plant in Germany in July 2024. The company will open a phase of bookings by the end of May for 123,500 US dollars (around Rp1.9 billion).
