DKI DPRD Calls BUMD Food Station Premium Rice Not Fulfilling Quality Standards
JAKARTA - Member of Commission C of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Andyka, said that the premium rice sold by PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya BUMD has not met premium quality standards.
This was revealed by Andyka after receiving a report on the premium rice lab test. The results of 34 lab tests stated that the rice circulating in the market did not meet the appropriate standard quality.
"Some partners who want to partner with predetermined requirements no one has passed. We as a partner for BUMD received reports that 34 times they had tested, but none of them passed the quality testing," Andyka said at the DKI DPRD building, Monday, May 6.
Andyka regrets the lack of Food Station control on the quality of rice sold to the public. He chose to ask the BUMD in the food sector to be able to improve and sell products with the best quality according to the standards set.
Food Station, according to him, needs to tighten control of the fulfillment of rice standards before they are circulated in the market. So that the quality of rice received by the premium quality community.
"We ask that the professionalism should be returned not like yesterday, because the personal proximity factor is then the one who is partnered as a partner, finally we can see that the quality of the rice also does not meet the standard," said Andyka.
