List Of Holidays March 2021, No Joint Leave For March 12

JAKARTA - Attention, for those of you who are planning to relax on Friday, March 12. It is indeed a national pinch day. But keep in mind, March 12 is still a working day.

As a reminder, the Government has agreed and stipulated changes to joint leave in 2021. The agreement is contained in the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower, the Minister of Administrative Reform, and the Bureaucratic Reform.

This decision was issued at the Ministerial Level Coordination Meeting for Reviewing the Joint Leave Agreement in 2021 which was chaired by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy. In the meeting, Minister of PAN RB Tjahjo Kumolo, the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Secretariat General of the Ministry of Religion Nizar Ali, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Manpower, Assistant Chief of Police, and Echelon 1 Officials of Ministries/Institutions (K/L) also present.

"In the previous Joint Decree (SKB) there were 7 days of collective leave. After reviewing the SKB, the collective leave was reduced from the original 7 days to only 2 days left," said Muhadjir, Monday, February 22.

List of Holidays in March 2021:

  • Thursday, March 11, 2021, the commemoration of Isra Miraj Prophet Muhammad SAW
  • Sunday, March 14, 2021, to commemorate Nyepi Day.

What the government cuts is a joint leave on Friday, March 12, 2021, in the event of Isra Mi'raj of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Joint leave in 2021 that has also been cut is May 17, 18, 19: Joint Leave in the event of Eid Al-Fitr 1442 Hijriah, and December 27: Joint Leave in the event of Christmas 2021.

Meanwhile, the fixed joint leave is on May 12 in the event of Idul Fitri 1442 Hijriah, and December 24 in the event of Christmas 2021.

"Do not let the accumulation occur on one day and it will be dangerous," added Muhadjir.

"The government needs to review collective leave which has the potential to encourage the flow of people so that transmission increases," he said.
