Minister Teten Aims For MSMEs With Assets Of IDR 50 Billion To Enter The Stock Exchange
JAKARTA - Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki admitted that he was working with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) to find MSMEs so that they could conduct an initial public offering (IPO) or initial public offering.
"Currently, of the total 800 companies with IPOs, around 33 companies are from MSMEs. These MSMEs have great potential (to develop)," said Teten, quoted from ANTARA, Friday, May 3.
The MSME criteria that can be included on the IDX acceleration board are Micro Enterprises that have assets of IDR 50 billion.
Teten targets 10 MSMEs to be able to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) until 2024.
One of the companies that has been listed is PT Platinum Wahab Nusantara Tbk. (TGUK).
Teten hopes that this step will make MSMEs able to accelerate their business expansion.
Meanwhile, MSMEs whose assets are below IDR 50 billion, Teten offers solutions in collaboration with crowdfunding (SCF) securities.
SCF is a method of collecting funds with a joint scheme carried out by business owners or businesses to start or develop their business.

Later investors can buy and get ownership through shares, proof of ownership of debt (bonds), or a joint ownership certificate.
With SCF, investors and parties who need funds can easily be met through an online platform.
Investors will benefit in the form of dividends or profit sharing of these business benefits which are distributed periodically.
