Thief Of Mosque Charity Box In Kemayoran Arrested By Residents

JAKARTA - A young man was caught stealing a charity box containing money belonging to the Al Madjid Mosque on Jalan Serdang Raya, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Friday, May 3, morning.

The residents also managed to secure the perpetrators and confiscated evidence of money from the charity box. From the video footage circulating, the perpetrator could only sit down and surrender when the residents were secured.

Seen a sum of money with various denominations collected as evidence. The perpetrator can only blame him and regret his actions.

For further processing, the perpetrators and evidence were handed over to the Kemayoran Police for further processing.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police, AKP Fauzan, admitted that he had not received a report regarding the theft of the charity box.
