SYL Children Use The Alphard Installment Vendor Of The Ministry Of Agriculture

JAKARTA - The son of former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL), Kemal Redindo Syahrul Putra, is said to have used an Alphard car purchased by the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan). The payment is paid in installments using vendor money.

The facts of the trial were conveyed by the Functional Staff of the State Budget of the Intermediate Budget of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture, Adbul Hafidh who was presented as a witness for the defendant Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL, Kasdi Subagyono, and Muhammad Hatta, in the case of alleged extortion and gratification at the Ministry of Agriculture.

Starting from Hafidh, he said that Panji Harjanto, who is SYL's aide, had asked for some money. The money pays the installments of the Alphard car used for personal purposes.

"Can you say personally why?" asked Judge Rianto Adam Pontoh during a trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Monday, April 29.

"It was used by other people," replied Hafidh.

"Who used it?" asked the judge again.

"The son is the Minister, Dindo," he replied.

Hafidh did not remember the time the request for money was submitted to him. However, regarding the amount of around Rp. 43 million. In addition, there were 10 requests regarding the payment of car installments.

In the process of providing the money, he said, it was first conveyed to Gempur Adytia, who at that time served as Sub-Coordinator for Maintenance of the General Bureau and Procurement of the Ministry of Agriculture.

It's just that. There is no Ministry of Agriculture budget that can be used to pay the car installments. So, it was decided to ask the vendor for money.

"Where does the money come from if there is no budget?" asked Judge Rianto.

"Borrow third party who vendors from the Ministry of Agriculture," replied Hafidh.

Hafidh said the vendor who was asked for the loan was working on a project at the Ministry of Agriculture. The vendor agreed to the loan.

"What is the form? borrowed? Is it included in the commitment fee?" asked Judge Rianto.

"No, Your Majesty," replied Hafidh.

"So in the form of a loan? Any receipts?" asked the Judge

"There is Your Majesty," said Hafidh.

In the case of alleged extortion and gratification, Syahrul Yasin Limpo was charged with extortion of up to Rp44.5 billion during the 2020-2023 period. This action was carried out together with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono and the Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery of the Directorate General of Infrastructure and Facilities of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta.

This money was then used for the benefit of Syahrul's wife and family, invited gifts, the NasDem Party, religious events, aircraft charters to Umrah and sacrifices. In addition, he was also charged with receiving gratuities of Rp40.6 billion from January 2020 to October 2023.
