Former Minister Of Communication And Information Rudiantara Joins As President Commissioner Of DANA
JAKARTA - DANA, a financial technology company that provides digital financial payment and services platforms, announced Rudiantara as the President Commissioner of DANA which will actively join in April 2024.
For information, before joining DANA, Rudiantara had served as Minister of Communication and Information since 2014-2019. He is also a professional in telecommunications and has had a career in Indosat, Telkomsel, and Excelcomindo (now XL Axiata).
Rudiantara's presence made DANA continue to strengthen its commitment to increasing financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia. Especially the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, in order to strengthen its various digital financial features and services.
"The growth potential of funds is still very large, considering that the unique number of mobile service users in Indonesia reaches more than 240 million. Therefore, all can play a role in increasing financial inclusion in Indonesia," said Rudiantara in a statement received on Wednesday, April 23.
Since 2018, the number of MSME DANA partners has continued to grow to reach 700 thousand and the average daily transactions have increased by 102 percent (YoY). In addition, the number of MSMEs using QRIS DANA as merchants also increased by 37 percent in 2023 compared to 2022.

Innovation support such as the implementation of AI, also helped build optimism for DANA to develop payments and Indonesia's digital financial services.
