Kapuspen TNI Finally Ratifies TNI AD Member Dies As A Result Of Being Struck By Lightning
The Head of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, Maj. Gen. Nugraha Gumilar, finally confirmed the news that one member of the Indonesian Army died from being struck by lightning near the Army Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Wednesday, April 24.
"That's right, one person died on behalf of Prada Ardiayansyah," said Major General Nugraha Gumilar when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, April 24, evening.
In previous news, Major General Nugraha Gumilar denied the news.
"Until now no one has died. Who said someone died? No, the two people are still being treated," said Major General Nugraha Gumilar when confirmed by VOI.
"Yes, he was injured. No one died, he is still being treated. Tomorrow he will recover," he said.
Two members of the Indonesian Army and the Indonesian Navy were injured after being hit by a lightning strike while guarding TNI Cilangkap Headquarters, East Jakarta, Wednesday, April 23 afternoon. The incident occurred at around 15.20 WIB.
It was later discovered that the two victims came from the Indonesian Army and Navy. A member of the Indonesian Army with the initials Prada A, a member of the TNI's Mako Academic Working Unit (Satker). Meanwhile, members of the Indonesian Navy have the rank of Kls Defender DS with the position of TA Subdis Jabatmil Satker Disminpersal.
According to data compiled, the incident occurred at around 15.20 WIB, the sound of thunderous lightning was heard. Then at 15.22 WIB, it was seen that people around came to help the victim, 2 members had fallen.

Then at 15.28 WIB, a member of the Indonesian Navy was taken to the Navy Headquarters Satkes and members of the Indonesian Army were taken to the TNI Headquarters Satkes using a guest car.
The first aid for the victim, a member of the Indonesian Navy with the rank of Kls Defender DS, was carried out at 15.30 WIB by the Emergency Team of the Headquarters Satkes.
Meanwhile, members of the Indonesian Army, Prada A, were given first aid by the TNI Headquarters Satkes Emergency Team at around 15:35 WIB.
For further handling, the two members of the Indonesian Army and Navy were evacuated again by the Satkes Team to Ridwan Meuraksa Hospital, East Jakarta at 16.15 WIB.
