Tracking Motorcycle Thieves Through Facebook: Victims Of The Perpetrator's Contract Raid In Duren Sawit, Residents Also Join Up
JAKARTA - Three motorcycle thieves were finally arrested by the victim and residents after being caught selling stolen motorbikes via uploads on Facebook social media.
The victim conducted a search for advertisements in a Facebook post posted by the suspect. As a result, the victim managed to raid the location where the perpetrators were hiding.
The three perpetrators, known to have the initials YG, RMDN and FKR, were arrested by the victim and other residents in the rented perpetrator in Gang H Fanih, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.
"He was found out in a post, on Facebook. Coincidentally tracking. There were three perpetrators we know. The perpetrator was attacked and raided in his rented house," said the victim who owns the motorbike, Abdul Choir when confirmed, Wednesday, April 24.
The victim explained that his motorbike was stolen by a thief when he forgot to remove the motorcycle key when it was parked.

"The parking motorbike forgot to remove the key, not long after the wife wanted to use the key motorbike, she just remembered it on the motorbike. When she saw that the motorbike was gone, it was gone," he said.
The arrests of the perpetrators of the theft were confirmed by the local RW management. According to the Head of RW 07, Yoyo said, he knew based on reports from residents and RT administrators.
"Yes, a motorcycle thief was arrested in his rented house RT 05/07, Gang Haji Panih Street, in the perpetrator's rented house. It was found out from the post and the perpetrator admitted his actions," he said.
For further processing, the three perpetrators were taken to the Duren Sawit Police Station to account for their actions.
