Police Arrest Woman Suspected Of Killing Her Nephew By Arresting Her
TANGERANG - Police arrested a woman with the initials LN (40). He was arrested on suspicion of killing a 7-year-old boy, his own nephew.
Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said the incident occurred in Salembaran Village, Cengklong Kosambi Village, Tangerang Regency, Monday, April 22, at 20.00 WIB.
"Reskrim members suspect someone, allegedly the perpetrator of LN, who is the aunt of the victim. The perpetrator was arrested at his home in the Kosambi area," Zain said in his statement, Wednesday, April 24.
Zain explained that the incident began when the victim with the initials EV (7) was being sought by her parents. During the search, it turned out that he was found dying covered in a tarpaulin, where the location was not far from his house.
Knowing this, the victim's parents took their baby to the nearest hospital. However, when he arrived at the location, it turned out that EV had died.
On this basis, the victim's parents reported the incident to the police to reveal it.
The police who received information immediately conducted an investigation and examined witnesses at the scene. As a result, it was suspected that the victim's aunt had the initials LN, because she was the last person with the victim.

After an examination, it was discovered that LN had allegedly killed his own nephew.
"LN admitted his actions that killed the victim by smothering the victim using a pillow for approximately 10 minutes," he said.
Then he tried to eliminate the trail by removing the victim's earrings and keeping them under a bucket close to the location bathroom. It is thought to be a victim of gold theft whose life was killed," he continued.
For his actions, LN was charged with Article 80 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 76 C of Law No.23 of 2002 concerning child protection or Article 338 of the Criminal Code.
"With a penalty of 15 years in prison," he concluded.
