Dozens Of Bodies Found Again In Mass Graves Of Nasser Gaza Hospital, Total Now 310 Bodies

JAKARTA - Dozens of bodies were recovered from mass graves inside the Nasser Hospital Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza on Tuesday, making so far more than 300 bodies were found after the withdrawal of Israeli soldiers.

Emergency workers managed to find at least 35 bodies from a cemetery at the Nasser Hospital Complex, bringing the total number of bodies found so far to 310 bodies, according to Civil Defense Director Khan Younis Colonel Yamen Abu Suleiman, to CNN, as quoted April 24.

As previously reported, Colonel Yamen Abu Suleiman reported the discovery of 283 bodies from mass graves inside the Nasser Hospital Complex, with several bodies said to have been found in the condition of his hands and feet tied.

"There are signs of execution in the field. We don't know if they were buried alive or executed. Most of the bodies are rotten," he said.

Colonel Suleiman was unable to confirm the cause of death among the excavated bodies. CNN has raised a number of questions to Israel Defense Forces (IDF) about the discovery of the mass grave.

CNN was unable to verify Suleiman's claim and was unable to confirm the cause of death among the bodies found. CNN has asked for a response from the Israeli military on claims it carried out DNA tests on a number of people who had been killed and temporarily buried in the hospital grounds for a search for hostages taken by Hamas and detained in Gaza.

Israeli Defense Forces buried the bodies of Palestinians at a collective cemetery, relatives told CNN.

It is known that Nasser Hospital was one of the hospitals attacked and raided by the Israeli military. Last February, they carried out a special operation at the hospital, claiming to have arrested dozens of suspects and weapons from inside the hospital.

Israel left the city of Khan Younis with a rubble condition on April 7, after carrying out months of attacks.
